Originally known as a photographer and a poet in New York and Bangladesh, Nabil Rahman pushes the boundaries of found materials from cigarette foil, to broken windows, to abandoned furniture, conjuring memories of patterns in the landscape of life. Rahman has also worked in a curatorial capacity, curating the acclaimed exhibition “Eyes on Bangladesh” at the Bronx Museum in New York in 2015 and assisting on the Chobi Mela, Asia’s oldest regularly held biennial of photography which recently completed its 9th edition.
